Here are three easy, bold, and delicious summer coffee recipes to keep your adventurous spirit fueled all season long:
1. Cold Brew Scallywag Style
Smooth, strong, and ready to set sail.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Scallywag Blend coarse-ground coffee (or try the Jibing Cold Brew coarse-ground coffee)
- 4 cups cold, filtered water
- Optional: splash of milk or simple syrup
Instructions:
- In a large jar or pitcher, combine coffee and water. Stir to saturate grounds.
- Steep in the fridge for 12-18 hours.
- Strain through a fine mesh or coffee filter. Serve over ice with your favorite add-ins.
2. Espresso Tonic Twist
A zesty, sparkling pick-me-up. Perfect for those hot afternoons.
Ingredients:
- 1 shot Skipper Amelia Gaoth - Espresso Blend
- 1/2 cup tonic water
- Ice & orange peel garnish
Instructions:
- Fill a tall glass with ice and tonic water.
- Slowly pour the espresso shot over the tonic.
- Garnish with an orange peel. Stir gently and sip the summer.
3. Barrel-Aged Iced Coffee Float
Dessert meets depth ...with hints of oak and caramel.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chilled Skipper Marco Vento’s Whiskey Barrel-Aged Guatemala coffee
- 1 scoop vanilla bean ice cream
- Optional: drizzle of caramel syrup
Instructions:
- Pour coffee over ice into a tall glass.
- Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.<
- Drizzle with caramel for an extra indulgent treat.
