Navigator's Reserve - January 2026: Outhaul - Guatemala Huehuetenango

Outhaul - Guatemala Huehuetenango from Skipper’s Remedy® is a medium roast crafted as part of our Navigator’s Reserve, released as a Limited-Edition for Coffee of the Month January 2026. This single-origin coffee comes from Chimiche, San Pedro Necta in Huehuetenango, grown at 1,500–1,900 MASL by Jorge Méndez and family, whose story is woven deeply into every cup.

Cultivated from Bourbon and Caturra varietals and fully washed (fermented for 28 hours, then patio-dried for 10 days) this coffee delivers a refined, expressive profile with delicate acidity, notes of apricot and clementine, soft milk chocolate sweetness, a light-bodied, juicy mouthfeel, and a lingering floral finish. Much like easing the outhaul to fine-tune sail shape, this roast is about balance and precision ...honoring decades of perseverance, restored land, and a dream that grew from a single coffee plant into a lasting family legacy.
