Leave an unforgettable wake wherever your voyage takes you with Skipper's Remedy® Golden Wake - Honduras, Finca Liquidámbar, our Navigator's Reserve and limited edition for coffee of the month August 2026.
This exceptional single-origin from Honduras: Honey Processed Finca Liquidámbar is grown by Roberto Rene González in the highlands of Guascotoro, San José, La Paz, where Bourbon, Catuai, and Pacas varietals flourish at 1,510 MASL in mineral-rich clay soils. Roast Level: Medium, this organic, honey-processed micro-lot is carefully pulped natural and dried in protected solar dryers, creating a naturally sweet and beautifully balanced cup with tasting notes of brown sugar, ripe nectarine, peach, and toasted coconut.
Beyond its remarkable flavor lies an inspiring story of stewardship and community. As both a coffee producer and the general manager of RAOS (Cooperativa Regional de Agricultores Orgánicos de la Sierra), Roberto combines his passion for specialty coffee with a vision for sustainable agriculture, conservation, and community development. His family's 37-acre Finca Liquidámbar provides year-round employment, supports local schools and infrastructure projects, and is working to establish nearly half of the farm as a biological reserve to preserve Honduras' natural beauty for future generations.
Like the golden shimmer of a sunrise reflecting across calm seas, Golden Wake is a coffee that leaves a lasting impression ...crafted with care, rooted in purpose, and destined for adventurous cups.
