Set a course for Costa Rica with Skipper’s Remedy® Finca Amistad Passage - Costa Rica, a distinguished Navigator’s Reserve and limited-edition for coffee of the month June 2026. This single-origin from Coto Brus, Puntarenas, Costa Rica is grown by third-generation coffee producer Roberto Montero at Finca Amistad, where Caturra and Catuai varietals flourish at elevations of 1,200 - 1,500 MASL in rich volcanic loam soils.
Roast level: Medium, this fully washed and sun-dried coffee delivers a beautifully balanced cup featuring sweet berry brightness, light citrus herbal notes, a smooth creamy texture, and a rich chocolate brownie finish.
Beyond the exceptional flavor lies a remarkable story of stewardship and community. Finca Amistad is part of a family legacy that has preserved vast tracts of rainforest surrounding La Amistad International Park while dedicating hundreds of hectares to organic coffee production. Roberto’s commitment extends beyond the farm, providing housing, medical care, educational support, and year-round employment opportunities for local and indigenous families.
Every cup of Finca Amistad Passage - Costa Rica reflects not only the vibrant character of Costa Rican coffee, but also a deep respect for the land, wildlife, and people who make it possible.
