There’s a certain magic in the air when autumn arrives on the water ...crisp breezes, shifting skies, and the unmistakable excitement that only a regatta can bring. This year’s Skipper’s Remedy® Fall Regatta delivered all of that and more, bringing together passionate sailors, finely tuned boats, and a community that thrives on adventure and camaraderie.
As the vessels lined up and the first horn sounded, it was clear we were in for a weekend of tight racing and masterful teamwork. And our sailors did not disappoint.

J-24 Class
A big round of applause to Wharf Rat, led by Skipper Christian Seidel and an exceptional crew, for securing First Place in the J-24 class. Their precision, tactics, and sheer determination kept them consistently ahead of the fleet—an impressive performance from start to finish.
Close behind, Kudzu 3, skippered by Jerry Lewis, delivered a strong and skillful campaign to take Second Place. Their agility around the marks and persistent pressure in each leg showcased exactly what spirited J-24 racing is all about.

ORC 3 Class
In the ORC 3 class, the competition was equally fierce. Razzberries, with dynamic co-skippers Mike Schrager and Henry Chesnutt, powered ahead to take First Place, earning well-deserved recognition for their strategic sailing and steady boat handling.
Hot on their wake, Rhumb Runner, skippered by Chuck Bowers and crew, claimed Second Place, delivering a fast and focused performance that kept the fleet on notice throughout the regatta.
