The Skipper’s Remedy® Fall Regatta delivered a race day that sailors won’t soon forget. The morning opened with heavy rain pounding the docks and even the possibility of a thunderstorm ...a reminder that November sailing in San Diego can be as unpredictable as the open ocean. As crews rigged their boats and prepared for the first horn, the winds built to a lively 22 knots, setting the stage for a day that truly embodied our mantra: Bold Crews Meet Bold Brews™.

Four dedicated teams took to the water across two classes. In the J/24 fleet, Wharf Rat and Kudzu 3 battled gusts and white caps in the harbor with impressive precision. In ORC 3, Razzberries and Rhumb Runner showcased grit and teamwork as they carved through the choppy conditions. With two races on the schedule, every tack, trim, and tactical call counted ...and each crew rose to the challenge with authentic competitive spirit.

After the final finish line crossed, sailors headed to the after-party and awards ceremony, where the chill of the day was quickly replaced with the warmth of fresh, hot Windward Galley Blend from Skipper’s Remedy®. Nothing pairs with a cold, stormy regatta day quite like a steaming mug of specialty-grade coffee, and crews were more than happy to refuel.

The celebration continued with raffle prizes featuring six bags of Skipper’s Remedy® coffee, bringing smiles ...and future brews... to lucky attendees. Awards were presented with pride:
-
First Place crews received an exclusive Fall Regatta 2025 Pennant Flag, a special edition 15oz Fall Regatta mug, and two 12oz bags of coffee, all packaged in a reusable clear tote.
-
Second Place crews were awarded two 12oz bags of coffee in a souvenir tote.

From fierce racing to good coffee and great company, the Skipper’s Remedy® Fall Regatta was a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and the spirit of sailing. To every sailor, volunteer, and supporter who braved the rain and wind ...thank you for making this a regatta to remember.
Fair winds, warm mugs, and bold adventures ahead.
